Budget and Funding
An initial donation fund drive occurred with a mass mailing to all FOHBC members included a letter requesting funds and a pledge card. Gifts can also occur online via PayPal. A fund drive bottle was developed to track gifts.
First goal was to gain donations in excess of $30,000 for the initial fund drive.
After the FOHBC membership has reached 1,400, The FOHBC Board of Directors may vote a portion of each membership in excess of 1,400 as a contribution to the FOHBC Virtual Museum.
The Virtual Museum Board of Directors will establish methods for recognizing those members that donated to the FOHBC Virtual Museum as part of the museum. A letter acknowledging the gift will be sent to each contributor. Recognition shall also occur online.
